This webpage originally started as a wedding website to provide information for our guests. It had information about the ceremony, hotel information,
and directions. That was back in 2006. Now that we are happily married and rasing our puppy in our first house, we thought we'd put together a page for
family and friends to come and visit to see what's new with us.
What would you like to know about? About Us
Ages: Danielle is 31 and Sean is 30. How We Met: It was December 1996 and I had just come home from college on Christmas break. I set up my parents's computer in my room and signed on to America Online. I would pop in to chat rooms and was getting a kick out of visiting web pages. I struck up a conversation with a guy from New Jersey who was attending school in Newark. He introduced me to his friend Sean and after a few months of online chatting amd e-mailing, Sean asked me out. This was May 18th 1997. Our first date was a picnic at a park here in Pennsylvania on May 23rd 1997. We have been together ever since. :)
Married: 2 and a half years. Careers & Education: I am the Marketing Director for hemmler + camayd architects in Scranton. Sean is an architectural designer at the same firm. We worked together previously at an architecure firm in Manhattan and we wouldn't have it any other way! Sean also teaches 2 classes in Structures, Materials and Methods at Marywood University. Sean graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in architecture. I attended Maryland Institute College of Art for Photography and Keystone College for Fine Arts.
Pets: Rhett, a Boston Terrier puppy who turned 1 in October. Fantasy Buy: Sean: A Shelby GT-H Mustang; Danielle: A full-time maid. Interests & Hobbies: Sean: architecture, sports (the NY Yankees & NJ Devils), camping, movies, gardening; Danielle:
crafting / jewelry making, photography, reading, walking along the river with Sean & Rhett.
Favorite tv shows: 24, House, The Office, Bones, and Lost. On Weekends: Relaxing, doing stuff around the house - we started a garden this year so we're busy with that.
How old is Rhett?
Rhett is a year and a half old. He was born on October 16th, 2007 in Oklahoma. What kind of dog is Rhett? Rhett is a purebred Boston Terrier. How did you get Rhett?
One of the students in Sean's class was from Oklahoma and one day they got to talking about dogs. The student mentioned a breeder she grew up next to and from whom her family got all of their dogs.
Sean came home and looked up the breeder and saw a picture of Rhett who was named Max at the time. Sean fell in love with him and convinced me to let us
adopt him (he had to work real hard). When Rhett was old enough, he flew all the way from Oklahoma to Newark NJ's airport on a plane full of other animals.
Sean went out to Newark to pick him up and bring him back to PA. Can Rhett do any tricks? Rhett can sit, jump up and do a spinny and he knows the names of all of his toys. We're still working on some others. Rhett was the runt of his litter
which means that he is developing a bit slower than normal so it takes him a little longer to get the hang of things.
What are Rhett's favorite toys? Rhett has a lot of toys, he's very spolied. He likes his plushie lobster and his plushie boomerang but his favorites are his tennis balls. He will play catch/fetch with them for hours. We will get bored and tired and want to stop but Rhett just keeps going. He's very good at catching them and doing crazy flips in the air.
Specs: We purchased our first home in June of 2008. It's 1,600 sq. ft. and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We made 2 of the bedrooms into offices for Sean and myself. It also has a secret room! If you go through the closet in my office, there is another room behind it. We were going to use it as our spy headquarters but instead are using it for storage. We also turned a room downstairs into our library because I have so many books. Location:
The house is located at the edge of Peckville, on the borders of Jessup and Archbald. We are about 2 1/2 hours north of Philadelphia and 3 1/2 hours
west of New York City. Our Garden:
